I know that this topic has been debated to death, but I'm unable to get a clear answer. In the role of a service provider's border router for peering & upstreams, is there any good reason not to use a 7600 over a 124xx GSR? Port per port, the 7600 is *much* cheaper, bigger backplane. etc. Assuming that all links are 1G or 10G Ethernet.
