[c-nsp] 7600 Questions

Hi folks..

 

Some very helpful people yesterday answered some questions on whether to go
GSR or 7600/Sup720 - we are looking at a pair of 7600's now with Sup720-3BXL
cards primarily for BGP and core routing functions.

 

Can Sup720-3BXL do MPLS or is this dependant on the line cards?  Our
thoughts are oriented around VPLS type of services.

 

I've read that the Sup720-3BXL can hold 1 million routes in the tables vs
256,000 on other platforms - true??  We're looking at splitting up 3 transit
providers and a couple hundred peers across them..
