We're currently doing it with a non-Cisco switch and Cisco phones in some of our smaller sites. ..and i noted that LLDP is slowly leaking out as a feature on cisco switches - recent IOS for 3560 and 2960 switches can speak it... service needs to be turned on of course. alan
