this name stays local to the router, and was/is required for Large-Scale
Dial-out (LSDO) where the router performed an AAA/Radius request to
retrieve dial information, and used the name for this.. Dial - sigh -
almost feels like legacy technology ;-)

But I agree, it's a nice way of documenting things :)
