I am thinking that there is belief that customers
need "wizards" to assist them.  I presume Cisco
has spent a lot of money on focus group studies
to decide that we are all idiots and want and
need their assistance with downloads (and do
not mind that it takes five times longer to get
to where we want to be, or to get the information
you want, as long as we can point and click to get
there).  It is form over substance.  I hate it
(but then I still hate the new Cisco logo too,
along with the font that the Cisco name is in).
