But politics aside, would you get an error message by trying to install 7600
based LCs into 6500 with 7600 based IOS saying that you need another
chassis? Is there anything in the chassis itself (some chassis id stored in
the eprom or something) that would prevent you from doing this or is it just
a 'verbal' warning from Cisco reps saying that you can't do that?
