SXH+SXI IOS will not boot on 7600-S chassis (but will work on "plain" 7600).

SRC+SRD IOS will not boot on any 6500 chassis.

Whether or not specific line cards work mostly depends on whether the IOS
needed to access the line card will support the chassis it's in.

IOS will actually refuse to boot. "Unsupported chassis, crash, boom, Rommon".

You can get specially-made IOS images to run SRC/SRD on 6500 chassis
("suppress the chassis-id check"), but you need to talk to your Cisco rep
to get them, and it's only "to support the migration to 7600 chassis", so
it's of fairly limited use.
