Ofcom tweaked the Annex M mask (the range of frequencies used for the 
upstream) for the UK from the international standard. To be compliant with 
the "Access Network Frequency Plan" (or "how you use a copper line in the 
UK") the UK specific frequency mask should be used.

As (now) stated in the Cisco dats sheets they dont support the UK mask. 
Though that data sheet amendment is relatively new.

I would therefore question the providers of LLU services that have an Annex 
M service working with current Cisco hardware whether their exchange 
equipment also implements the ofcom ANFP with regards to Annex M.

I beleive code enhancements from Cisco to be UK compliant are coming.
