[c-nsp] 6509 extended vlan issue

we currently have at least 40 Cisco 3750s as our distribution platform. I am
starting to move away from the 3750 and onto the 6509. Building my first
config, which is transitioning the 3750 to the 6500, i cannot use vlan
1007-1300 (which i currently do use in the 3750) due to it "
Can't modify media for extended VLAN 1007-1300."
So i google it, find that i need to add globally, but when trying i get no
values with a ?

VLAN database editing buffer manipulation commands:

doesn't allow me to add the values
Now this is odd, as i go back into standard vlan config and add the range
1007-4094 it adds 1026-4094 even though i get the error "Can't modify media
for extended vlans"

Is this a software bug?
I am running s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXH7.bin
