We have a large number of Avocent ACS devices in our network. They
work fine, but we had problems with the PCMCIA modems stop answering
which required a reboot to fix, which stinks if the modem stops
answering when you need it most. Sounds like this wouldn't affect you.
I also found their support lacking.
We recently started buying the LX series from MRV and really like them.
