Not really. The 6148 has 6 Gigabit ASICs, and each group of 8 ports
share an ASIC. So you cannot run all ports at wirespeed at the same
time.

No, all the "advanced" features of the LAN cards are controlled by the
PFC3B on the supervisor. You can do a lot, but things like H-QoS and
certain MPLS features cannot be performed by the PFC.
