There's no such thing as Sup6. There's only Sup6E and Sup6E-Lite/Lite-E:

It would be beneficial to share what did bite you with the software
and which IOS release it was. The current available for Sup6E and
it's clones - 4900M/4948E are pretty stable and working well in a
number of environments as you can imagine.
