We have a 6500 Switch in our network with two SUP720 engines running in SSO mode; one engine is Active and the other is in Standby Hot. The Sup engines are in slot 5 and slot 6. We need to replace the card in Slot 5.
Does anyone have a step by step procedure and/or web link on how to replace the redundant supervisor card without rebooting the chassis.
Any/all help is much appreciated. Thank you.
We have the following config for the supervisors.
!
redundancy
mode sso
main-cpu
auto-sync running-config
auto-sync standard
