We've had a few mishaps. Field engineers don't know exactly how to insert 
the card properly so the bus stalls for a prolonged period of time 
(remember that *every* time you insert or remove a blade you stall the 
buss, it's just a matter of for how long. The bus stall is designed into 
the OIR design on the 6500/7600).

We tend to schedule card changes to off hours, even if it might not always 
be in maintenance windows.
