Half year ago tried to switch from SRD3 to SRE and hit problems with 
sfp's: even with unsupported-transceiver some of previously working 
sfp's couldn't start. I didn't tryed SRE1 and SRE2 on this box, but i 
also didn't saw any mention of this problem in release notes. So be careful.
