The ASA VPN in 8.x has an "IPsec Client Update" feature built-in that I was looking over. 

Basically it will do a version check and you can provide a URL to download new software,
for Windows (general), Win 95/98/ME, WinNT/2000/XP, MacOS, and LInux.

There appear to be no provisions for WIndows architecture (32-bit vs 64-bit).  Any
workarounds for this? 

I could live without this feature but it would be handy to upgrade, as many of our
legacy clients have ancient Clsco VPN clients.
