[c-nsp] change rommon cv value in sup720-10g / 6500 VSS

Hi.
Just did a issu upgrade of ios on a C6500 VSS pair with sup720 10g.

When i run the command:
Router# show issu state detail
the value for ROMMON CV =  points to a old ios image on the sup flash.

Can i change this value to point to the new ios image?

Btw, what is the "rommon cv" value used for?

Tried to search the mailinglist and google for this but found no documentation.
