Hello,
Is anyone here doing 2 or more L2 connected sites with Cisco UCS chassis
for ESX ?
If so what type of addressing are you doing for the management of the
chassis - which is essentially out of band type connectivity
Are you using vlans or addresses that are part of the actual vlans trunked
to the UCS chassis ?
[ VMs are on vlan 100-200 and the mgmt is 105, VMs are 192.168/16 and mgmt
is 192.168.254/24 ]
Are you using separate addresses ( VMs are on 192.168./16 and the chassis is
10.5.0.0/24 )
Same addresses / vlans per site or keeping sites separate ( mgmt at site1 is
10.5.1/24, site2 is 10.5.2/24 )
I thank you in advance and even if you may not being actually doing this if
you have any opinions one way or the other that would be great too.
