Try to control break just after the control moves from the switch processor
to the route processor. And then issue again the confreg command.

I managed to lock myself out of this switch i am configuring however it's
not taking the following

control break
rommon 1> confreg 0x2142
rommon 2> reset

do anybody in here know the configuration registry code because 0x2141 is
not working.  Please help
