Understandable. Why personally I think ERSPAN is best option, is because
you don't need to configure far-end. I always love when provisioning means
only touching local end, where you need to enable service.
I wish Cisco would publish ERSPAN as IETF draft, so I could ask Juniper to
implement it.
I've given it some thought and started on the draft, but I'm hesitant to
publish it, as it would be much better to come from Cisco.
