A Sup720 running SXI with subinterfaces will send LLDP frames in each
VLAN it seems, or at least that's what a neighboring 3560 seems to
think:
Switch1#show lldp nei
Capability codes:
(R) Router, (B) Bridge, (T) Telephone, (C) DOCSIS Cable Device
(W) WLAN Access Point, (P) Repeater, (S) Station, (O) Other
Device ID Local Intf Hold-time Capability Port ID
SomeRouter Gi0/25 120 R Gi4/6.445
SomeRouter Gi0/25 120 R Gi4/6.507
SomeRouter Gi0/25 120 R Gi4/6.443
SomeRouter Gi0/25 120 R Gi4/6.246
SomeRouter Gi0/25 120 R Gi4/6.991
SomeRouter Gi0/25 120 R Gi4/6.308
SomeRouter Gi0/25 120 R Gi4/6.975
SomeRouter Gi0/25 120 R Gi4/6

Switch2 Gi0/27 120 B Gi0/27
Switch2 Gi0/28 120 B Gi0/28
Switch3 Gi0/26 120 B Gi1/0/1
Total entries displayed: 13
Switch1#
The Sup720 will see just one neighbor:
SomeRouter#show lldp neighbors Gi4/6
Capability codes:
(R) Router, (B) Bridge, (T) Telephone, (C) DOCSIS Cable Device
(W) WLAN Access Point, (P) Repeater, (S) Station, (O) Other
Device ID Local Intf Hold-time Capability Port ID
Switch1 Gi4/6 120 B Gi0/25
Total entries displayed: 1
SomeRouter#
This is a bit annoying IMHO.
