C7600 has a finite roadmap.  Buying an ASR9k was not necessarily a bad
thing to do.

XR is great, and you will love it. But it takes time to work through the
differences between it and standard IOS.  I dont have experience of
implementing mpls on XR, but if it's anything as logical and well-laid-out
as plain ipv4/ipv6, you'll find it to be a pleasure to work with.
