There are two types of licenses on ASR platform: Permanent licenses and Evaluation licenses
you are still able to configure L3VPN on your box without a Permanent license,but your L3VPN function will break off once your Evaluation license expired(90 days).also,you better install and manage licenses according to the instructions provided.
