Hello,
I posted this to cisco-bba, but due to the low activity on that list,
I figured this might be better off here.
I'm trying to se up a Cisco 881G router to act as a PPPoE to L2TP LAC.
I have the configuration entered, and have created the bba-group, but
for some reason any time I enter "pppoe enable group global" on any
of the FastEthernet interfaces, it takes the setting, but doesn't do
anything. When I do a "show run", the statement doesn't show up.
I'm trying to use the box as a small PPPoE server to relay sessions
via the L2TP through the built in cellular modem. We currently have
an old Cisco 2611 that we do this with using an external wireless
modem, but the wireless carrier is shutting down that network soon,
and this was to be the replacement. We use this for situations where
a customer's DSL line has gone down and they need a temporary
solution until the telco can repair their service.
