The last time I looked, quaaga and IOS-XE support unicast and multicast SAFI; bird and OpenBGPD only unicast.  While bird and OpenBGPD can be "fixed", not having to do so is a plus.  The query is driven by the 2 GiB quagga bgpd processes we're currently seeing.
