Hi there,

What I need to do is to terminate a large volumes of Ethernet PWs on a pair
of aggregation ASR9010 boxes and bridge them up via single connection to a
PE -to create virtual PE-CE circuits

Each aggregation box will be connected via one bundle or several separate
interfaces to particular ASR9010 acting as a PE -will terminate L3 services
in a PE-CE fashion

On the Aggregation boxes I need to terminate the PWs and bridge each of them
into a separate EFP to carry the CE traffic to PE

Now my question is whether to use QinQ or 802.1ad or 802.1ah to create
virtual circuits on the links between the aggregation box and PE box

I can't be using a combination of inner and outer tag (due further
aggregation) -qinq or 802.1ad will give me only 4000 virtual circuits on the
trunk between Aggregation and PE router

So I was thinking maybe I could do 802.1ah with SIDs which gives me much
more space

Thanks

adam
