[c-nsp] Best Ipam software?

Hi everybody,
I just wanted to also mention NOC (www.nocproject.org)
The setup is very complicated and theres a definite lack of documentation (especially for non russian speaking folks like myself)
But the software itself is very nice. It has a web-interface and offers different vlan and ip "domains". So you can manage
the same ipspace (e.g. rfc 1918 space) and vlan numbers for different places/facilities etc.
It also supports rancid like (but more improved and with more equipment support) version control of config files.
I also found the tagging feature (you can tag ip-entries with infos) very nice :)
There's a whole bunch of very nice features so IF you have quite some time you really should give it a try. (and
if you can get it running)
For the interested the developers can also be contacted in "#nocproject" on freenode and are very supportive and friendly
(and speak english!!! ;))
regards,
Julian Seifert

That sounds like a good rason to learn Russian to me. In fact, I'm
learning Russian presently; this is just a bonus :)
