The impact is that the sensor is no longer being polled, so you won't get
temp readings, and you have a lit CRIT facility alarm. It's possible it was
a software bug (I was running 3.4S, at the time). No indication from TAC
that it would cause other problems.

I don't like having red CRIT on a box, so I reset the SIP (again, as part
of an ISSU).
