That will give you the counter for all octets on that interface.  If you 
just want IPv6 octets, that can be somewhat more tricky.  At least on some 
platforms, Cisco appears to have decided they will not support the IP-MIB, 
which I believe includes IPv6-specific interface counters.  I don't know 
if this is the case on the ASRs, but I've run into this on the 6500s and 
the Nexus 7K.
