I'm not sure if a 7600 with LAN cards is a good idea. Go with the sane BU,
get a 6506. Same chassis, less insanity inside.

Don't go near that card. The 6548-GE is an abomination before hell - it
shares 1 GE backplane bandwidth among *8* ports, so one single port can
saturate a group of 8. Worse, the buffering of the 1:8 ASIC is stupid by
default, so if you have a 100M port that is overloaded, it can head-of-line
block the other 7 GE ports. Doesn't do jumbo frames either.

I'm not sure about the 6148*GE - we never had any of these, when we need
GE on 6500s, we either use the 6516-GBIC or 6516-GE-TX cards, or go for a
6748-GE-TX (... which, unfortunately, is not available as -45AF variant,
and additionally the card needs a Sup720).

In summary, I think the 6500 selection of line cards is not well suited
to do POE on Gbit with it if you need GigE performance as well.
