For comparison, 4948E-E (which has 48 copper ports, four 10G SFP+ ports and
"Enterprise" software for full IP routing features) lists at US$ 20k.
Adding a second PSU for resilience adds US$ 500.

The 3600X-24FS (24 ports SFP, 2 ports 10G) chassis lists at US$ 11k and
you'd need to add licences for 10G (US$ 3k) and Advanced Metro IP (US$ 4k)
 Dual PSUs adds US$ 2k.

If you wern't going for 24 ports SFP (i.e. if you were OK with copper
access ports) it would be US$ 2k cheaper too.

Apply your Cisco discount level as appropriate.
