Hm, I dug up the EoL announcement, and indeed it's end-of-software 
development in sep 2011. However, hardware support is available until Sep 
2015.

Also, they are still releasing images (probably because NPE-G1 runs same 
code). 15.2M and 15.2S seems to be the last images made for it. Last image 
available is from september 2013 anyway.
