Initially flow generating was only supported ingress on
an interface, egress flow generation was added "later"
12.3T? to IOS.

If you enable ingress and egress flow generating on
several interfaces flows might get genated twice: One
on the ingress interface, another one on the egress
interface. Depending on enabled features (i.e. NAT)
with different IP addresses.
