Hi,
I try to implement PIM ina HSRP setup, following this guidelines:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios-xml/ios/ipmulti_pim/configuration/15-2s/imc_hsrp_aware.html#GUID-1294B212-466A-4D8D-AB20-D8DE0B3645CD
On the MC_Router-FW there was a static route to the HSRP address, however
RPF check failed, as the the PIM neigbors are announced via the physical
Interface-IP (.252 and .253).
I could not catch any additonal PIM-hellos nor was an additional
PIM-neigborship listed as described.
As soon as Implement routes to the physical interfaces it works.
*MC_Router_FW#sh run | i ip route*
* no ip route-cache*
*ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.16.146.252*
*ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.16.146.253 200*
What I am missing ?
Any hints appreciated, cheers keti
