They will both be connected with a single port channel (6 x 1 gig links) and will be using multiple contexts to support different clients (hosting)
They will patch into a WS-X6848-TX-2T on each 68k.

My question are - 
(1) with this line card, there are 4 asics I think, one for each 12 ports - would you patch 2 links in each ASIC, like ports 1+2, 13+14 and 25+26. 
Or would you patch them all on the same block - i.e 1-6?

(2) With regards to VSS - would you not do a MEC, and keep one firewall channelled one switch, or would you do a MEC, putting 3 ports in each channel, on each switch.
