Your upstream provider should have told you:

1. the dwdm channel number for the transceiver (i.e. the wavelength it
transmits on)
2. whether you need a 40km or an 80km transceiver

Once you find this out, you'll need to order a dwdm transceiver of that
configuration from a third party vendor, coded as a cisco part.

Obviously you could get a cisco part, but the list price is about 10-20x
what you would expect to pay for a third party unit so unless you like
burning money, third party transceivers are a better plan.

Also with DWDM, you need to be extremely careful about fiber hygiene. Any
time a cable is inserted, both the ferrules and the sockets need to be
swipe-cleaned with the appropriate equipment (cletop-s and LC one-click
cleaners)
