What is the distance between the two devices? Can you confirm the type of
optics (they look like 10GBASE-ZR, but I want to be sure) as well?

As another poster mentioned, it looks like you are receiving a very hot
signal on the 6509 side. If you are using ZR optics and the distance
between the two devices isn't long enough, you will need to do one of two
things:

1. As the other poster mentioned, you can attenuate the signal. Chances
are you will need to insert attenuators in-line on the transmit side of
both ends.

2. Replace the optics with something that's more appropriate for the link
length you're using, such as LR or ER optics.
