I'd also recommend ASR903 the RSP3 is the best thing that could happen to
the platform as it's lifting up the ridiculous 20K/80K route limit to almost
200K, which should be fine form most of the tier3/2 MPLS backbones (yes I
was hoping for 2M but if they would do that, then I guess no one would be
buying ASR9ks any more). 
RSP3 allows you to go 2x40GE or even 1x100GE (though the RSP3 max throughput
is 480Gbps/600Mpps). 
And it's IOS-XE you're familiar with. 
The product has been around for ages so it's mature enough, though I think
the customer base is not as wide as the ones of asr920 or asr9001, so the
bug territory might not be as well mapped as on the competing platforms.
