- Do both routers offer the same number of ports, route scale and other
features that you need?
- Does the 1006 cost more or less than the 9001 in your specification?
  - Don't forget ongoing power costs
- Which one will last you 5 years at current growth?

The 9001 is a great router for BGP edge, and various other things, but
I'm not sure you've provided enough information to fully evaluate your
options. :)
