HI Divo,
We use asr1ks with rp2s for this type of service without any issues .
One thing you can't do is aggregate shaping on 2 service vlans so you
can't have one shaper for 2 sub ints when using pppoe
So
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/0.1
encapsulation dot1q 100 second-dot1q any
and
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/0.2
encapsulation dot1q 101 second-dot1q any
cannot share an aggregate shaper.
Also worth a note is that if you expect more 10g ports the asr9k may be a
better fit.
