No it's not :)
What's worth looking at is classic MPLS based EVPN in the DC at hypervisor
level. 
Converting DC to standard MPLS network and all your problems are solved.
Need micro segmentation -use VPN labels
Need service chains -use transport labels
Etc...

adam
