[cisco-voip] which do I choose

This has been a nightmare... Can anyone explain what's happening?

I have three PRIs coming in to a cisco IOS Gateway (CMM - 6t1).  The
Voice traffic works just fine.  Modems and Faxes even work (thus far).
But if the Telco loops the Gateway they get immediate errors.  If they
loop the NIU, no errors, and if they loop an external CSU / DSU no
errors.  I look at the Gateway and there are no errors logged.  What's
happening?

Grateful for any help.

PS.  TAC is RMAing it but I'm not so sure that is going to fix it
either.

There are some excepetions, but usually 5e8 does just fine.
