Scott,

You can use this Bulk Administration Tool (BAT) Tool to generate a
list of all Phones on your call manager. It will generate a CVS file that
you can import to Excel modify and then place back on the call manager for
changes to take effect. I use it all the time and it work great as I have
more then 1000 IP Phones in my network. To learn how to install and use the
tool I recommend going to google.com and do this search site:cisco.com Bulk
Administration Tool This will bring back a tone of white paper from cisco
site on the tool. It should get you in the right direction. Let me know if
this helps.

Sincerely,

Michael L. Windon

If it's h.323, it sounds like there isn't a dial peer pointing to a proper
CallManager DN.

If it's MGCP, you may not have an MGCPapp defined for the port properly.

I need a quick way to get a excel spread sheet of mac address, line
name, and extension of all my phones.

Is there a way to do that?

Thanks

You may get it to work if you configure it as a 7960 in CM, but it is
unsupported so Cisco would not assist with any issues that arise.

Remember, FXO provides no ability to do DID, so you have to route to a
static internal DN.

if h323, use connectoin plar on the voice port and configure appropriate
dial-peers so that plar destinatino DN routes over to CM.

if mgcp, do not configure connection plar on the voice port. Only
configure the attendant DN on the port config page in CM.

Using the BAT tool, you can export all phones. This will give you a text
file with all MAC addresses and all lines. It's a good disaster recovery
step to take in case you have to recreate your system from scratch.

Route Plan->Route Plan Report also does a decent job if you click the
link in the upper right to view in file.

For some reason, I was thinking Scott wanted the MAC address and all DNs on
one line.

The route plan report will also work.
