As far as I know, the only way to convert a MIDI file would start with
playing it back through a PC or synthesizer (keyboard), and recording
the result-

This would be by hooking the Line Out of whatever device was doing the
playing into Line IN on a PC, setting the levels
and once you had a WAV file from the MIDI file, you could adjust it to
Cisco's specs as are mentioned in the URLs people have posted..

I don't think there's any program that can convert MIDI files to actual
audio files..
that'd be like trying to convert a digital camera photo of a
computerscreen showing an Excel file into an actual XLS...

MIDI and actual binary audio streams (WAV, RM, RAW) are COMPLETELY
different types of things- there's no relationship to 'translate'
through
except by playing and then recording...

tones on 7960?

We are running 3.3.3sr3 here, and I was wondering how to setup
up different
Ring tones on my phone. I have 2 .mid files, what product can I
sue to convert them to .raw
And how do I apply these new files to the phone?
