I figured out that I could do that, but most of the phones that we will be
using for this are 7905s. They only have one port.

You should be able to daisychain phones. We did it for a while, and ran into
a problem where either the phones or switches reset themselves, but then
found evidence of this phone configuration parameter which should fix
things:

forwardingDelayForwarding Delay :
Indicates whether the internal switch begins forwarding packets between the
PC port and switched port on your phone when your phone becomes active. When
forwarding delay is set to disabled, the internal switch begins forwarding
packets immediately. When forwarding delay is set to enabled, the internal
switch waits 8 seconds before forwarding packets between the PC port and the
SW port. You should set Forwarding Delay to enabled when you connect both
ports to switches for redundant uplinks or when you daisy chain phones
together.
This is a required field.
Default: Disabled.

We have separate VLANS for our phones and data. I have a situation, where I
need to set up a room with multiple phones, and I do not have enough data
jacks to plug them all in to. Is there any way that I can use a standard
Linksys SOHO switch to connect the phones to? I know that I will need power
cords, but I need to know how to configure the phone to get the right IP
since Linksys does not support separate VLANS. Thanks.
