[cisco-voip] possible VWIC-1MFT-T1 failure

Scott,

I have the same configuration i.e. CM is 4.13 and the 7940/60's are on
app load P00307010200. The call gateway in question is a 3640 running
IOS c3640-is-mz.123-8.T.bin. This static is constant and is so bad I
had to re-route all local call's out the FXO's and LD long haul through
my local PRI.

What code are you running on CM and what firmware on the phones.

I'm running CM 4.1.3 and P00307010200 on my 7940/60's. I have started
to hear little amounts of static also (but I don't think I can reproduce
it). I'm wondering if it's the phone load.

Scott

When I make outbound local/long distance call's out the PRI I receive a
very loud static on the phone. When I call into that phone from the
outside in ( 7 digit dial) the phone call is clear.
