[cisco-voip] device name of gk controlled trunk

Thanks. Now I got it.

By default CCM uses TCP ports 1024 - 4999 for H.323/H.225 signaling (GK controlled trunk). After I set the "Device Name of GK
Controlled Trunk that will use Port 1720" parameter CCM registered with TCP port 1720 at the GK.

Brilliant for firewalls with H.323 proxies!

This forces CM to register one device with the signaling port of 1720.
Other devices register with different signaling ports. Apparently there are
a few h323 stacks out there that do not like signaling ports other than
1720.

Hi,
What does the following CCM service parameter do: Device Name of GK
Controlled Trunk that will use Port 1720 :
CCM always registers with the name of the H.323 trunk at the GK and the
above command has no effect at all. What is the use of it?
Thanks.
