In my experience I would say 95% of time it's loop start, just depends
on the other end.

Subject: [cisco-voip] FXO setup
I don't normally work with FXO ports a lot so I'm a little rusty.
Do I use loop start or ground start? I'm using CM 4.1.3sr1 with MGCP to
a 2801 with 2 port FXO vic. These are just normal pots lines coming in.
Thanks
Scott
PS. I currently have the PBX and this VGW patched into the same line
and it sounds like (not very good). Is this the PBX interfering? I
don't want to cut over until I have everything working.
