[cisco-voip] Line status -- real time

I know if you use AC you can get line status of phones.  IE. ringing,
talking, on hook, etc.  Is there anyway (ie service maybe) of showing
line status on the phones?  Have users that would like to know the
status of another user.  Does IPMA do this?
