[cisco-voip] Unity 4.0(3) Cut-off Voice Mail messages

check to see if you have

no mgcp timer receive-rtcp

in the router config, if you don't it the gateway will drop the call to
the unity server because its only a one way stream and the gateway sees
this as a dead call since it isn't receiving back...

Its default in the newer ios, not in the old...

What protocol are you using? MGCP at the gateways? or H.323?

We have experianced this as well but only a few mailboxes here and
there. Where can we find the message timer setting?

How long are these messages? Is it going past the message timer? Do
you have limits on Exchange messages?

We have been experiencing sporadic cut-off messages from some of our
remote locations. At first,

I thought these were just hang-ups but these were message left in
mid-sentence.

We are running Unity 4.0(3) SR1 along with Exchange 2000. I upgraded TSP
on the Unity box to

7.0(4) b from 7.0(3). Tac suggested that I disable VAD and also check
for the following command

In my voice gateways (vg200) " >no mgcp timer receive-rtcp"

I know this could be a QOS problem as well, but has anyone dealt with
this?

Thanks
